New certification process for meat imports from North

Minister for Agriculture Mary Coughlan has introduced a new system of certification for the importation of all livestock and meat products from the North.

The move comes as the authorities continue their efforts to contain an outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease in the Surrey area of England.
