Agbonlahor deportation delayed by a week

The deportation of a Nigerian woman and her two children was today delayed by at least a week.

Olivia Agbonlahor and her six-year old twins - Melissa and Great - have been ordered to sign on at the Garda National Immigration Bureau on August 14, pending their deportation.

The family were today brought by taxi from their home in Kerry to the Balseskin Accommodation Centre in Finglas.

A widespread campaign to prevent their deportation failed, despite fears that Great, who is autistic, will not receive proper medical treatment in Nigeria.
