Gardaí make no arrests in €60,000 Cork drug seizure
Gardaí are to send a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions after releasing three people without charge in connection with a drugs seizure in East Cork on Friday.
Officers arrested a man in his 50s, a woman in her early 20s and a 17-year-old girl at a rented farmhouse in the Leamlara area around 11am on Friday morning.
The three were arrested after the discovery of three kilos of amphetamines with a street value of €60,000.
The man was brought to Middleton Garda Station while the women were taken to Cove where they were questioned about the find.
The 17-year-old girl was released on Friday night while the other two were released yesterday morning at about 11am all without charge.
