Protestant homes damaged in sectarian attack
A police vehicle was damaged during a sectarian attack on two Protestant homes in north Belfast, it emerged today.
A crowd of about 30 people confronted PSNI officers in Twaddell Avenue at about 1am.
"Two homes and a PSNI vehicle were damaged," said a PSNI spokesman. "We believe the attack on the homes was sectarian-related. Nobody was injured."
Democratic Unionist Party member of the Stormont Assembly Nelson McCausland condemned the attack.
"This is the latest in a long series of attacks on these Protestant homes," he said.
