July marked another month of extreme weather, with heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, localised flooding and even the odd tornado plaguing the country, according to Met Eireann’s monthly update.

July marked another month of extreme weather, with heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, localised flooding and even the odd tornado plaguing the country, according to Met Eireann’s monthly update.

After suffering one of the wettest June’s on record, the country was plunged into further dire conditions last month, with at least 1mm of rain recorded every day out of the last 49.
