Work began today on the sculpting of five massive sand statues set to decorate the grounds of Dublin Castle for the month of August.

The sixth Dublin Sand Sculpture Exhibition, organised by Duthain Dealbh (Fleeting Sculpture), will take place in the upper courtyard and will run for around three weeks from August 7.
