Man dies in single vehicle car crash in Galway

Another life has been lost on the country's roads this morning, this time in a single vehicle collision.

A car, carrying three people, crashed on the main Craughwell to Athenry Road at 8am.

A man in his 20s is said to have died in the collision, while two others have been injured.

He is the fourth person killed on the nation's roads overnight, after three pedestrians were killed in separate accidents.
