Omagh man to face ‘conspiracy to defraud’ charges in court

A 40 year-old man is due in court in Omagh today charged with conspiracy to defraud.

The charges relate to seizures of counterfeit goods worth more than €44,000 in Strabane, Co Tyrone and follow-up searches in Derry yesterday.

A 32 year-old man who was also arrested has since been released without charge.

The seizures were made by the PSNI crime squad as part of an on-going operation.
