Colm Quigley elected Medical Council president

The Medical Council has elected Dr Colm Quigley as its new president.

The Medical Council has elected Dr Colm Quigley as its new president.

He takes over the job from Brian Hillery, who resigned the position in order to run for the Seanad.

Dr Quigley had been the council's vice-president and had assumed Dr Hillery's duties following his decision to seek public office.
