Motorcyclist fifth person to die on roads today

A motorcyclist has died following a road accident in south Dublin.

A motorcyclist has died following a road accident in south Dublin.

The motorcyclist crashed into a car on Merrion Road just before 8 o'clock this morning and was taken to St Vincent's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

He is the fifth person to die on Irish roads today.
