Gardai have charged a man in connection with the fatal stabbing of another man in Co Tipperary over the weekend.

The victim, a Ukrainian man in his 30s, died on Sunday after being stabbed during a house party in the Coachyard area of Nenagh.

A 55-year-old man is due to be brought before Portumna District Court in connection with the case.
