Drugs and firearms seized in Dublin raids
Gardaí are understood to have seized a quantity of drugs and firearms during follow-up searches relating to the fatal shooting of a 28-year-old man in Dublin during the weekend.
Kevin Ledwidge died after being shot in the chest when he answered a call to his family home in Finglas on Friday morning.
He had been released from prison shortly before the murder.
Gardaí are searching for two men who fled the scene in grey Opel Vectra, which was found crashed a short time later.
Reports this morning say detectives are also investigating the possibility that Mr Ledwidege may not have been the intended victim.
