Poll: Majority in favour of migrants bringing families

A new poll also shows that more than three quarters believe the partners of migrant workers should be allowed to hold down a job too.

Campaigners say the results show the compassion and good economic sense of the Irish public.

Jacqueline Healy of the Migrant Rights Centre says partners and families of non-EU migrants face a "bureaucratic quagmire" trying to get into the country.
