Belfast sex assault: PSNI release two youths

Police in the North have released two youths arrested in connection with the rape of a 16-year-old girl in Belfast.

The 16- and 17-year-olds have been granted police bail pending further inquiries.

They were arrested yesterday afternoon after coming forward to police following appeals over the rape, which took place in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The victim was waiting in the car park of the Devenish Arms at Finaghy in the south of the city at around 1.30am when she was set upon by two males, whom she later told police raped her.
