Lansdowne residents with appeal against development

Two local residents have withdrawn their legal challenge against the decision giving the go ahead to the €365m redevelopment of Lansdowne Road Stadium.

Mr Kevin McMahon and Ms Mariaelena Byrne, of O'Connell Gardens, Sandymount, Dublin had been seeking a stay in halting works at the Stadium, pending the outcome of their application for leave, to bring a judicial review challenge to the development.
