Plane crash victims named

The two men killed in yesterday's plane crash in Galway have been named locally as Dublin pilot Matt Masterson and businessman Paul McNamee, from Loughrea in Galway.

The two men killed in yesterday's plane crash in Galway have been named locally as Dublin pilot Matt Masterson and businessman Paul McNamee, from Loughrea in Galway.

The pair died when a Cessna light aircraft crashed while trying to land at an airport in Connemara.

Three other men remain in a critical condition in hospital.

A team of investigators are examining the scene today before moving the wreckage to Co Meath for a more detailed analysis.
