Proposed M3 tolls to earn Eurolink €1bn

Tolls collected from the planned M3 motorway will go directly to a private company according to reports released today.

Eurolink, which won the contract to build and operate the controversial motorway earlier this year, will take 100% of the tolls for the first 45 years of the road's life.

According to the Irish Daily Mail, this will net the company nearly €1bn.
