Man and woman killed in Dublin, Galway crashes

A 35-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman have died following separate road accidents in Dublin and Galway in the last 24 hours.

A 35-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman have died following separate road accidents in Dublin and Galway in the last 24 hours.

The man died when his motorcycle collided with a road sign on the N32 in Coolock just before 8.30pm.

Gardaí are investigating the incident and are withholding the dead man's name until all next of kin have been informed.

The woman, meanwhile, died in hospital last night from injuries she sustained in a collision between two cars at Oxgrove Bridge in Kilimor earlier yesterday.

Gardaí are also withholding her name until her relatives have been informed.
