Thousands of people have lined the streets of Dublin to mark the Annual Gay Pride Parade.

Spectators have been treated to a noisy and colourful display, with Senator David Norris Grand Marshalling the event from Parnell Square to the Civic Offices.

The parade has marked the end of the Gay Pride Festival which highlights civil partnership rights, anti-gay hate crimes and homophobic bullying in schools.
