15 injured in Longford crash

FIUp to 15 people were treated for minor injuries tonight following a crash between two vehicles in Longford, gardaí have confirmed.

The incident happened on the main Cavan to Granard N55 road at around 3.45pm.

It is understood a Defence Forces truck transporting personnel and another vehicle were in collision.

The road remains closed outside of Granard.

The injured were taken to Mullingar and Cavan General Hospitals.
