First Irish cocaine clinic opens in Galway tonight

Ireland's first cocaine clinic is due to open in Galway city tonight.

The drop-in centre on Dominick Street has been set up in response to a growing number of people seeking help from the Galway Drug Service for cocaine-related problems.

It will open every Wednesday evening to provide support and advice to help users deal with their problem.

Figures show that cocaine is growing in popularity across all social groups in Ireland.
