Judge Mahon hits back at lawyers' accusations

Judge Alan Mahon has hit back angrily at lawyers for Minister Micheal Martin who claimed the judge failed to protect their client's reputation from "malicious and bizarre" allegations.

Developer Tom Gilmartin admitted today that he was wrong last week when he said that rival builder Owen O'Callaghan had bragged about paying a six-figure sum to Mr Martin in 1995.
