A lawyer for the Minister for Enterprise Micheál Martin has attacked the Mahon Tribunal for failing to protect his client's reputation from "malicious and bizarre" allegations.

A lawyer for the Minister for Enterprise Micheál Martin has attacked the Mahon Tribunal for failing to protect his client's reputation from "malicious and bizarre" allegations.

Last week, property developer Tom Gilmartin told the tribunal that rival builder Owen O'Callaghan had bragged about paying a six-figure sum to Mr Martin in the 1990s.
