Gardaí in Dublin are continuing to hold a man arrested yesterday in connection with a murder in the west of the city last month.

Gardaí in Dublin are continuing to hold a man arrested yesterday in connection with a murder in the west of the city last month.

The man, who is in his 40s and from the Finglas area, was detained yesterday morning in the Blanchardstown area.

He is being questioned about the murder of 25-year-old Ian Tobin at a house in Blanchardstown on May 27.

Mr Tobin, who had two children, died in hospital after he was shot by a gunman who called to the door of a neighbour's house in Fortlawn Park.
