The FF/PD coalition, which would need the support of a number of independent TDs, is being given odds of 2/5 this morning.

The odds of the two parties joining forces with the Greens have also shortened following the news that the Greens are willing and ready to re-enter negotiations with Fianna Fáil.

Elsewhere, the bookies' favourite for the jobs of Cean Chomhairle in the 30th Dáil is Labour Party TD Ruairí Quinn.
