Polish man injured in stabbing

A Polish man was recovering in hospital today after being stabbed in an apparently random attack.

The incident took place in the early hours of yesterday morning when the man and two of his friends, also Polish nationals, were walking in the Ardkeen area of Cavan town where they were set upon and each was stabbed.
