Group recommends greater use of community policing
The body overseeing the redevelopment of Dublin's Ballymun is recommending the greater use of community policing to address anti-social behaviour.
Ballymun Regeneration Ltd says a pilot project it operates has been successful and could work elsewhere in the country.
Under the project, Gardai, local councillors and members of BRL meet the local community every six weeks to discuss and address problem areas.
