FF-Green deal looking unlikely

An agreement between Fianna Fáil and the Green Party on the formation of a coalition Government is looking unlikely this evening as negotiations between the two parties resume.

Following a break to consult party members, Green Party negotiator John Gormley was downbeat on the prospects of an agreement, citing "very significant difficulties" between their respective positions.
