Greens to support FF policy on abolishing stamp duty

New legislation to abolish stamp duty for first-time homebuyers is reportedly set to be introduced in a matter of weeks if a Fianna Fáil-led coalition takes power next week.

Fianna Fáil has promised to abolish the tax immediately if returned to power and has already instructed civil servants to draft the necessary legislation.
