The number of people being killed on Ireland's roads has fallen dramatically since the introduction of mandatory breath testing, according to the Road Safety Authority.

The number of people being killed on Ireland's roads has fallen dramatically since the introduction of mandatory breath testing, according to the Road Safety Authority.

The authority says 274 lives have been lost in road accidents since the measure was introduced on July 21, 2006.
