Angry McDaid may withhold support from FF govt
The director of elections for controversial Donegal TD James McDaid says Fianna Fáil cannot count on his support until he has met with local party members.
Reports this morning claim Dr McDaid is considering withdrawing support from the party as it did not help him enough with his election campaign.
He claims he was treated like an independent while the party leadership supported his running mate, Niall Blaney.
Dr McDaid's director of elections, Terry McEniff, says he will be consulting with his election team before he makes any decision on how to respond.
