Taskforce sets six-hour target for A&E waiting times

A HSE taskforce is reportedly recommending a string of measures to reduce A&E waiting times to a maximum of six hours.

The proposals are designed to end the situation whereby many patients currently have to be treated on trolleys while they wait for a hospital bed.
