Yacht towed to safety after engine problems off Cork

Three people have been rescued after their yacht got into difficulty off the coast of Co Cork overnight.

The alarm was raised shortly after midnight, when the boat began to experience engine trouble three miles south of Power Head.

Ballycotton lifeboat was despatched to the scene and the yacht was towed safely back to Crosshaven at around 4am this morning.
