Fianna Fáil’s Niall Collins has been elected in Limerick West with 10,326 first preference votes.

Fianna Fáil’s Niall Collins has been elected in Limerick West with 10,326 first preference votes.

Fine Gael’s Dan Neville received 8,314 first preference votes.

Meanwhile in Dublin North no candidate was elected on the first count.

Green Party Leader Trevor Sargent is standing in the constituency and polled 7,448 first preference votes.

Michael Kennedy of Fianna Fáil received the highest number of first preference with 10,880, the quota is 10,939.
