Strong showing for FF in Kildare South

Fianna Fáil has swept two candidates to power in the Kildare South constituency.

Sean O'Fearghail and Sean Power each exceeded the quota (8,648) on the first count.

Labour's Jack Wall received the next highest number of votes, at 7,154.
