Pat Rabbitte scrapes in after second count

Labour leader Pat Rabbitte has been elected after the second count in Dublin South West with 8,342 votes.

He passed the quota by 11 votes.

Earlier, Fine Gael's Brian Hayes and Fianna Fáil's Conor Lenihan were elected in Dublin South West.

Mr Hayes got 8,346 and Mr Lenihan got 8,542 votes.

Fianna Fáil's Charlie O'Connor was next on 7,985 votes with Sinn Féin's Sean Crowe looking like he will lose his seat as he only has 5,076 votes.

Of the eight candidates elected so far, FF have 6 seats, FG have one as do Labour.
