Two French women killed in Dublin crash

An overnight road accident in the Ballyfermot area of Dublin has claimed the lives of two French women.

The women, who were both middle-aged, were walking along Kylemore Road when they were hit by a car at around 11pm.

They were both pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car involved in the accident is helping gardaí with their inquiries and motorists are being advised that the Kylemore Road has been closed from the junction of Bluebell Avenue to Landen Road.
