Ahern and Kenny set for pre-election TV debate

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny are to take part in a live debate on national television in the run-up to the general election.

The hour-long face-off will be televised on RTÉ on May 17, a week before voters go to the polls.
