Power-sharing 'has lessons for other conflicts': Blair
The return of power-sharing between unionists and nationalists in the North has lessons for other conflicts around the world, British Prime Minister Tony Blair insisted today.
As he witnessed the swearing in of Ian Paisley and Martin McGuinness as the joint heads of the North’s new devolved government, Mr Blair said he always believed a deal was possible if both men could be persuaded to talk to each other.
