Children injured in crash
Two children on their way to school were among five people injured in a car crash on the Seven Mile Straight in Antrim today.
Police said the cars collided close to the Shaneogue House Bar and both crashed through fencing into a roadside field.
A father and his two children were in one vehicle and two men in the other.
They were all taken to hospital for treatment for what were believed to be minor injuries and shock.
Meanwhile police appealed for witnesses to a crash on the Glenshane Pass last night to contact them.
Two men and a woman were taken to hospital after a blue Opal and a white VW van collided close to the Curran picnic area near Castledawson.
None of the injured are believed to have life-threatening injuries.
