Greens promise to cut VAT and PRSI if elected

The Green Party has promised to cut VAT by one percentage point and PRSI by a half of one percentage point if elected to government.

The party has today launched its taxation and spending policies, which also propose an increase in capital gains tax and the index-linking of tax bands and credits.
