Ahern denies prior knowledge of tribunal postponement

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern today insisted he had no prior knowledge of the Mahon Tribunal's decision to postpone public hearings into Mr Ahern’s finances as well as alleged planning corruption.

“No, it was totally a matter for them,” he said at a public engagement at Croke Park in Dublin.
