Fine Gael and the Labour Party now have enough support to form the next government, according to the latest Irish Times opinion poll.

Fine Gael and the Labour Party now have enough support to form the next government, according to the latest Irish Times opinion poll.

It shows that Fine Gael have picked up five points to stand at 31%, just three percentage points behind Fianna Fáil, who are down three.

Both Labour and Sinn Féin are at 10%, the Greens are at 6%, while the PDs are up two points to 3%.

This means that a Fine Gael/Labour coalition would have 41% - four points ahead of the current Fianna Fáil/PDs government.
