Motorcyclist shot dead in Limerick gun attack

A man in his 30s has been shot dead during a gun attack in the Thomond Gate area of Limerick this morning.

Gardaí say the victim was travelling on a motorcycle when he was shot just after 10.30am, but no further details have been disclosed.
