A group appointed by the Government has reportedly recommended that prenuptial agreements be formally recognised in Irish law.

Reports this morning say the group, whose findings were presented to the Cabinet yesterday, has proposed that such agreements be used as a guide when courts are dividing up assets after a marriage break-up.
