Water protestors stage sit-in at Limerick council offices
A number of demonstrators have staged a sit-in at Limerick's County Hall overnight in protest at a new water supply from the Deel River.
The protestors say they County Council has broken a High Court order by disconnecting their homes in Pallaskenry from the Bleach Lough water supply and connecting them to a supply from the Deel.
Five protestors refused to leave County Hall in Dooradoyle last night and are still there this morning.
They say they will stay where they are until their original water supplies are reconnected.
