Man due in court in connection with Clonakilty killing

A 32-year-old man is due in court this morning in connection with the death of a woman whose body was found in a flat in Co Cork last week.

Thirty-year-old Rose Patterson was found stabbed to death at her flat above a barber's shop in Clonakilty last Thursday.

Her former partner was also found with stab wounds in the flat, but was discharged from hospital earlier this week.

The man due in court today was arrested in Cork city on Monday.
