The director of a victims' group in the North has been threatened by loyalists.

The director of a victims' group in the North has been threatened by loyalists.

Mark Thompson, of Relatives for Justice, blamed the Ulster Volunteer Force after being warned of the risk by police in west Belfast on Saturday.

He linked the sinister development to his work with families from across the community.

He has lobbied for action on alleged security force collusion with loyalists and represented a string of loyalist murder victims.
