Two men die in Co Clare road accident

Two young men have been killed in a road accident in Co Clare.

The victims - aged 17 and 21 - died when their van veered off the road at about 5am this morning.

It happened on the Ennis to Kilrush road at Lack East Kilmihil.

The dead men were believed to be from the area.

Two other men who were in the vehicle at the time have been brought to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Limerick with serious injuries.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them at Kilrush Garda Station.
