Polish man charged in connection with Limerick death
A 27-year-old man has appeared before Limerick District Court charged in connection with the death of Dariusz Wiskowski.
The Polish national was found with serious injuries at a house in Castletroy on Easter Monday, and died later in hospital.
Waldemar Mateja, who's also a Polish national, with an address in Cois Ghruda, has been charged with intentionally or recklessly causing serious harm to 26-year-old Wiskowski at 19, the Hawthorns in Briarfield.
Gardaí objected to bail in court this evening because they feared the accused man would interfere with witnesses in the case.
The 27-year-old was remanded in custody to appear before the court again next Wednesday.
